With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen M. Zappe of Danville, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2026 at the age of 78. Though Stephen may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Stephen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Zappe and Florence Zappe (Stehley) of Fullerton, PA.. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Zappe (Jones); his son Mark Zappe of Hellertown; his grandson Merritt Zappe; and his siblings, Timothy G. Zappe (Barbara) of Whitehall and Ellen Rahn of Palmerton.
