He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Melvin and Ruth Melvin (Gulligham); his daughter Jeannie Ham; his siblings, Sonny, Tommy, Richie Melvin and Darlene Summerville; his in-laws, David and Lenora Welsh; his nephew Chad Melvin; and his godson Adam Rohrmann.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Melvin (Welsh) of Darlington; his brother Mike; his sister-in-law Sue Melvin; his children, Pam, Steve Donahue, Marci, Chuck McKeel, Russell and Faye Melvin; his daughter-in-law Melody Carney; his sisters-in-law, Marion Gulett and Sandy Epling; his grandchildren, Russell, Marge Duran, Tyler, Maddie Donahue, Maddison, Randall Ashby, Jordyn (Jack), Hunter McKeel (Zoe), Stephanie, Brian Bonomo, Robbie and Grace Coats; and his great grandchildren, Kaiden, Everleigh, Jack, Levi, Talia, Sophia, Eli and Maribelle. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, friends.
