It is with sadness that the passing of Ruth A. Smith of Dauphin, Pennsylvania is shared. Ruth, born on April 25, 1932, passed away on June 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Snyder and Ruth Snyder (Rothermel); her husband Joseph R. Smith, Jr.; her daughter Cheryl A. Kauffman; her brothers, Roy Snyder, Kermit Snyder, Art Snyder, John Snyder and George Snyder; and her son-in-law Richard L. Bent.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda A. Bent of Dauphin and Sandra A. Minich (Jeff) of Elliottsburg; and her son-in-law Terry Kauffman of Dauphin. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 14 step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ruth's honor may be made to Freedom Bible Fellowship Church, 409 Allegheny Street, Dauphin, PA 17018.
