He was predeceased by: his parents, John Goldyn and Mary Goldyn (Mrozowski); his wife Joan C. Golden (Stephenson); his son Joseph A. Golden; and his siblings, Mike, Frank, Stanley Golden, Catherine Shutty, Ann Lisiecki, Sophie Incorvia, Mary Stevanus and Helen Cotchen.

He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann Golden of Davidsville, Lori (Paul Kazmierczyk) of Grazier, Carole (Gregory Cable) of Davidsville, Janette (James Gruss) of Blough and John Golden (Leah) of Scott Depot, WV; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Julia, Jennifer, Sara, Adam, Paul, James, Alayna, Leah and Brody. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
