She was predeceased by: her parents, Worthington Ellenberger and Laura Ellenberger; and her husband Jack B. Shaffer. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Shaffer (Lois), Jeffrey Shaffer (Pamela), Nancy Starr (William) of Elizabeth and Connie Brosius (Simon) of Summerville. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
