He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Salo and Verna Salo (Shirley) of Tins Mills; and his sister Jennie Risher. He is survived by: his wife Sally (Soskey); his sisters, Janet Petro of Home and Susan Connor of Tins Mills; his children, Frederick Salo, Jr. (Sue) of Virginia, Jody DeMase (Alan) of Saltsburg, Kimberly Schick of Saltsburg and Andy Salo (Monica) of New Alexandria; his pets, Daisy and Lulu; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Potts (Chad), Sarah Rittenour (Matt), Emily Wano (Anthony), Nina Schick, Angeleah Quenzler (Nick), Noah Schick (Abbie), Ashley, Destiny, Harley DeMase, Amira, Dausyn Wetherbee, Sincere, Bishop, Santana and Tamaize.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bash-Nied-Jobe Funeral Home (152 Abbe Pl, Delmont, PA 15626).
