He was predeceased by: his wife Emily; Joan Higgins Brady. He is survived by: his daughters, Peggy Kunka (Myron), Jean Lambl (Andy) and Mary Jo (John); and his grandchildren, Matthew (Angela), Katie Payne (Ryan), Molly Stevens (Jessica) and Ryan. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
