We announce the death of Elevrie Petty (Delta, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 16, 2026, at the age of 97. Elevrie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Freeman Wyatt and Laura Wyatt; her husband Thomas Petty; and her brothers, James Fred Wyatt and Billy Jo Wyatt.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Testerman (Eddie), Linda Boothe (Troy) and Jeff Petty (Kim); her nephew Michael Wyatt (Melodye); her grandchildren, Dawn McCole (Steve), Jason Testerman (Holly), Ryan Boothe (Victoria), Jeremy Boothe (Angie) and April Petty-Cruley (Stephanie); her great grandchild Dalton Boothe (Shelbie); her family, Cian McCole (Brandi), Lane Boothe, Trinity Testerman, Kylee Testerman, Conal McCole, Emily Boothe, Brandon Boothe, Taylor Boothe, Callen Boothe, Kait Watkins (Brandon), Shelby Cason, Rhett Hill and Louella Hill; and her great great grandchildren, Jackson Watkins, Nicholas Watkins, Presleigh Blevins, Raylynn Boothe, Parker Watkins and Alex Roth.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Baptist View Church (2718 Sharon Rd, Jarrettsville, MD 21084).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Elvara's name to Whiteford Volunteer Fire Company or Baptist View Church.
