It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Warne of Delta, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 18, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Desmond Charles Chandler Warne; her parents, Joseph Edward and Mary Glover (Smallman); her son David Michael Warne; and her siblings, John, Joseph Glover of Birmingham, England and Pauline Field of Wetherby, England..
She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Charles Warne, Sr. (Sandra) of Delta and Peter John Warne (Gabrielle) of White Hall. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church (1021 St Marys Rd, Pylesville, MD 21132). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church Cemetery (600 Main St, Delta, PA 17314).
In lieu of flowers, Mum had requested that a donation be made to the Youth Ministry of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Pylesville, Maryland.
