He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth Lyle Groom and Mary Ann Groom (Forse). He is survived by : his wife Myrna Elaine (Felix); his children, Steve Groom (Susan) of Nanty-Glo, PA and Karen Strawn (Bob); and his stepchildren, Pamela McGraw (Mike) of Chester, VA and Craig Ott. He is also survived by Seven grandchildren as well as seven great grandchildren.

No public services have been scheduled; however, his family would appreciate memorial contributions to Animal Rescue, Inc. http://www.animalrescueinc.org or 2 Heritage Farm Dr., New Freedom, PA 17349.
