He was predeceased by : his wife Ella Louise Enfield (Swift); his parents, Francis Wallace Enfield and Helen Enfield (Heaps); and his siblings, Francis Wallace Enfield, Jr. and Lois Enfield Akeurst.
He is survived by : his children, Richard H. Enfield, Jr. (Joy) of Whiteford, MD and Cynthia Poteet (Richard) of Whiteford, MD.; his grandchildren, Richard Alexander Poteet, Amelia Poteet Scampton (Travis) and Jodi Lee Kavanagh (Michael); his great grandchildren, Ella Jane Scampton and Adalyn May Scampton; and his sister Dorothy Enfield Macy of Street, MD.
