He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edwards Evans and Emma E. Evans (Hayes); and his siblings, Daniel O'Cleare Evans and Myrtle Lee Evans Olsen. He is survived by: his children, James Evans (Denise) of Street, Maryland, Gerald Evans of Havre de Grace, Maryland and Adrianne Cantler (Josh) of Columbia, Pennsylvania.; and his grandchild Montana Cantler.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wagner-Elfner and Harkins Funeral Home & Cremation Services (600 Main St, Delta, PA 17314). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to either the Slate Ridge American Legion, the Shinglehouse American Legion, or to the donor's favorite Armed Forces organization in Tom's memory.
