He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer B. Mellinger and Kathryn Mae Weaver Mellinger; his former wife Ruth L. Frankhouser Mellinger; his daughter Alice Ann Frankhosuer; and his siblings, Gloria Spittler, Robert E. Mellinger and Joyce L. Aument.
He is survived by: his wife Drema L. Mentz Pavelsich Mellinger; his children, Vicky L. (Douglas Hensel) of Denver, Robert L. (Jane) and Anthony D. Mellinger; and his close friends, Jennifer Pacana of Willow Street, Lori (Daniel Hurst) of East Earl, Cindy L. Mellinger, Stell of Manchester, NJ and Tonya (Craig Sweater) of Evergreen, CO.
