He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Gress and Helen Gress (Keenan); and his wife Nancy A. Gress (Bradley). He is survived by: his children, Steve E. Hammer (Dori) of Bainbridge, Lisa M. Hammer of Coudersport and Jennifer L. Hartman (Chris) of Ephrata; and his sisters, Diane Dull (Larry) of Lititz and Tamara Gress of Wyoming. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
