As we bid Dean farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Dean is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Gress and Helen Gress (Keenan); and his wife Nancy A. Gress (Bradley). He is survived by: his children, Steve E. Hammer (Dori) of Bainbridge, Lisa M. Hammer of Coudersport and Jennifer L. Hartman (Chris) of Ephrata; and his sisters, Diane Dull (Larry) of Lititz and Tamara Gress of Wyoming. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home (533 Walnut St, Denver, PA 17517). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
