In the sacred silence of farewell, Thelma is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Thelma's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Hirneisen and Lydia Hirneisen (Martin); her husband Marvin D. Sweigart; and her siblings, Carl Hirneisen and Erlene Hollinger.
She is survived by: her children, David Sweigart (Ann) of Arizona and Elizabeth (Rob Shaffer) of Stevens; her grandsons, Harley Sweigart and Bryce Shaffer; and her sister Gloria Esh of Mechanicsburg.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home (533 Walnut St, Denver, PA 17517). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
