She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Burik and Catherine Korchok Burik; her husband Richard A. Heacox; and her siblings, John, Mike, Anthony "Legs", Frank "Lil", Stan "Buddy" Burik, Katie Borzovets, Annie Franke, June Burik, Mildred Burik, Helen Burger and Rose Caldwell.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Theis (Ed) of Mount Pleasant, Patti Shivetts (Kevin) of Latrobe, Cathy Galida (Torrey) of Cornelius, NC and Rich Heacox (Jacki) of Jamison, PA; and her grandchildren, Sara Theis, Alex Shivetts (Nicci), Aaron Shivetts, Lauren Galida, Jack Galida, Shane, Blaise and Remi Heacox.
A rosary will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home (300 W 3rd Ave, Derry, PA 15627). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church (125 S Ligonier St, Derry, PA 15627).
