With sadness, we share the passing of Frederick O. Griffith (Derry, Pennsylvania). Frederick, born on December 23, 1931, passed away on July 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Arnold and Carrie Susan; and his siblings, Dr. Joseph Blaine Griffith of Sewickley and Betty Yvonne Nincke of Ligonier. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Shiflett; his daughters, Marla Dahlmann (Charles) and Elizabeth Rosato (Joseph); his grandchildren, Heather Grandinette, Stacey (Grandinette), Kristin Rosato and Carrie Dahlmann (Iagaro Gayoso); and his great grandchildren, Avery Kutzner, Lorenzo Gayoso, Gianna Gayoso, Sophia Gayoso, Addison Munchel and Emilio Gayoso. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Donations can be made in Fred's honor to an animal shelter or to a Parkinson's Disease charity of the donor's choice.
