We bid farewell to Gene A. Burd of Derry, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 19, 2025 at the age of 75. Gene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harmon E. "Ham" Burd and Mildred M. Burd (Wineland); his mother-in-law Cecelia DeValerio; and his brother-in-law Greg DeValerio. He is survived by: his wife Theresa E. Burd (DeValerio) of Derry; his children, Aaron G. Burd (Angela) of Latrobe and Becky Crimboli (Frank) of Latrobe; his grandchildren, Gabi Burd and Joey Crimboli; his sister Darla N. Irvin (David) of Derry; and his father-in-law George DeValerio. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
Viewing will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home (601 Weldon St, Latrobe, PA 15650). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
