It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nicholas J. Nelson of Derry, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 31, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Christina Sindorf; and his grandparents, Herbert, Ruth Leary, Howard, Laura Payne, Clair, Shirley Nelson and Ethel Ramsey.
He is survived by: his parents, Beth Payne of Latrobe and Beverly Nelson of Ligonier; his uncle Unk; his wife Chelsea P. Nelson (Orner) of Derry; his children, Charlotte A. Nelson and Benjamin B. Nelson; his sister Nikayla Yasurek; his brother-in-law Jeff; his brother Michael DiCriscio III; his brother-in-law Coty Ronk (Heidi); and his nieces and nephews, Octavia, Torvi Yasurek and Jordan Ronk. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to go towards Charlotte and Benjamin's care.
