She was predeceased by: her husband Robert D. Carl; her parents, Dr. Gerald McGarvey and Ursula McGarvey (Yeager); and her sister Ursula Fahs. She is survived by: her son Robert D. Carl III (Ann Currie); her grandchildren, Anneliese Carl and James Robert; her daughter Dorothy; her grandchildren, Zachary Quinn (Jessica Berman), Matthew Quinn (Ingrid), Tyler Quinn and Ryan Quinn; her nieces, Ursula Thomas, Debbie Turner, Sandy Turner, Patricia Fahs, Linda Gewertz and Marianne Ulmer; Porter and Mia Quinn.
