He was predeceased by: his parents, William John Vincent and Marion Jenkins Layland; his brother Charles Layland; and his son-in-law Richard Buchinski. He is survived by: his children, Renee Buchinski, Brian Layland (Michelle), Covington Twp and Charles Layland; his grandsons, Evan, Elliot and Jacob Layland; and his sisters, Vinessa Schultz (Chester) and Bonnie Layland.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Frank T Mazur Funeral Home (601 Dundaff St, Dickson City, PA 18519). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the United Baptist Church (213 S Main Ave, Scranton, PA 18504). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
