It is with sadness that the passing of John Lenko of Dickson City, Pennsylvania is shared. John, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, passed away on September 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lenko and Betty Manetti Lenko of Mary's Visitation Church; his sister Betty Ann Bednarz; and his brother-in-law Stanley Bednarz. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Bowden Lenko; his daughters, Jana Martin (Gary) and Leyna Magdon (Nick) of Stephens City, VA; his grandchildren, Emily, Kaylee, Lily Martin, Miles and Colton Magdon; and his sister Ann Marie Updegraff (Glenn) of Lewisberry, PA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM and at 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home, Inc. (601 Dundaff St, Dickson City, PA 18519). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (805 Pancoast St, Dickson City, PA 18519).
Memorial contributions in Jackie's name may be made to St. Mary's Visitation Church, Dickson City, or to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
