He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Pekar and Mary Jane Pekar (Minor); and his brother Richard J. Pekar. He is survived by: his wife Jill Pekar (Cratty); his daughters, Kristi Howard (Robert) of Garards Fort and Jessica Inch (Chad) of Chesterfield Virginia; his grandchildren, Brittney Howard, Levi Howard (Jasmyn), Joshua Howard (Jenna) and Emily Inch; his great grandchild Lyla Howard; his brother Michael (Rita Pekar) of Amhurst; and his sister-in-law Brenda Pekar.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Ignatious Roman Catholic Church of Bobtown. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Matthias Parish (305 Grant St, Bobtown, PA 15315).
