He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Danner and Sarah Danner (Donson); and his sisters, Margaret Shatzer and Doris Suhr. He is survived by : his children, Mark E. Danner of Lancaster, Samuel P. Danner of Wellsville, Debra L. Washburn of Georgetown, DE and Susanna J. Edmonds of York; and his sisters, Laura Beachley of Mechanicsburg and Julia Paulus of Camp Hill. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Central PA, 900 South Arlington Ave., Ste. 134A, Harrisburg, PA 17109 or the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75084.

Vilma Nester Coken wrote a sympathy message

“I never saw Ken after graduating in 1954 from Northern High until we happened to meet on school field trips. He drove for Northern and I drove for Cumberland Valley. It was so nice reminiscing of our past years at Northern, while waiting for the children to return to the bus from their field trip. We shared funny stories of kids we transported during out bus driving years. Ken was a special person and I'm sure loved by many. My sympathy to the Danner family, Vilma Nester Coken”
