With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lewis V. Lake of Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, born in Tacoma, Washington, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 19, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Lewis departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Lewis. Though Lewis may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Earl Lake, Sr. and Katherine Mann Lake; his siblings, Dewey Earl Lake, Jr. and Clara L. Morrow (Betty); and his stepdaughter Aimee Blake Haines.

He is survived by: his wife Sue Kellum Lake; his children, Christopher M. Lake (Tiffanie) of Cortez, CO. and Bernadette M. Lake of Durango, CO; and his stepdaughter Kirsten L. Bailey (Mike) of Beaverton, OR..

Viewing will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Malpezzi Funeral Home (8 Market Plaza Way, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

“Sue and family. You know my heart is always with you I have so many great memories of Lew and will miss him all the days of my life He was always there for those who needed a shoulder to cry on or just to hold your hand knowing whatever was happening he will be there I will miss not seeing him on the Deck at the beach reading a book and smoking his cigars the Grace he gave at the dinner table and his always in his hand a soda God blessed me the day we met love you dearly”
