He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Lichtenwalner and Pauline Lichtenwalner (Danner). He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Lichtenwalner (Brightbill); his children, Erin Lipkowitz of Beverly, MA, Lisa Case of Mechanicsburg, PA, Eric Light (Rick) of Sykesville, MD, Kristin Wonderling of Lederach, PA, Jennifer McKinnis of Lafayette Hill, PA and David Lichtenwalner of Glen Burnie, MD; and his sister Ann Mitchell of Rescue, CA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
