She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Motovich and Miriam Motovich (Olbeter); her husband Ronald L. Helwig; and her sister Lora Brown. She is survived by: her children, Ronald L. Helwig II (Veronica) of Hershey and Kimberly A. Boal (Brian) of York Springs; her grandchildren, Cody Helwig (Morgan), Hunter Boal (Alexis), April Yeager (Griffen), Logan Boal, Zoe Horst (Nathan) and Kelsi Helwig; and her great grandchildren, Kayleigh Helwig, Layton Helwig and Brixton Yeager.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (260 E Main St, Middletown, PA 17057). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
