She was predeceased by: her parents, William Murphy and Julia Murphy; and her husband John J. Flaherty, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Scott Flaherty of Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania, Julie Flaherty of Wilmington, Lynda Flaherty of Dearborn, Michigan and Karen DeVilliers (John) of Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania.; her grandchildren, Eric Simko, Steven Solferino, Brett Solferino, Grace Gunn, Dustin DeVilliers, Alexandra DeVilliers, Brooke Ketterman, Christopher and Serena DeVilliers; and her great grandchildren, Xavier Simko, Daniel DeVilliers and Vincent Solferino.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Eleventh Hour Rescue, Rockaway, New Jersey, or the New Pike County Humane Society, Shohola, Pennsylvania.
