Rea Dorathea Eilene Norgaard Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rea Dorathea Eilene Norgaard of Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 8, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Emma Tresp and Alfred Gag; her husband Allen Norgaard, Sr.; her children, Janice Cheatwood (Greg) of Florida, Rea Noyes Sessa (Tony) of Highland Mills, Pat Patterson of Monroe and Belynda Barton of Sparrowbush; her grandchildren, Jessica, Amanda Noyes, Stephen, Andrew Patterson, Hailee Cheatwood and Curt Hedberg; and her great grandchildren, Isabella, Savannah and Abigail.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (391 Mt Hope Rd, Middletown, NY 10940). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery (111 Craigville Rd, Goshen, NY 10924).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Pike County Humane Society in Shohola, PA.
