With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Minnie Ann Smail of Distant, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 24, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter "Mike" Guthrie and Florence Allen Guthrie; her husband Marlin R. "Smick" Smail Jr.; her siblings, Eugene Walter Guthrie, Robert Guthrie and Madalene Herbert; and her son-in-law Bruce Adams Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Smail (DeeDee) and Vicki Adams; her grandchildren, Keli Reddinger (Terry), Jennifer Moore (Justin), Kara Lechene (Mat) and Mitchell Smail; her great grandchildren, Andrew (Brooke), Emma, Nicholas, Ava, Trenton, Madisyn, Elliott, Emery and Sidni; and her great great grandchildren, Hudson and Bowen.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Oakland Church of God (122 Kohlersburg Rd, Climax, PA 16223). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Minnie's name to the Oakland Church of God "Blessing Bags", P.O. Box 40, Distant, PA 16223.
