With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bernice Sampler (Donora, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 10, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Bernice has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Gladys and Agatha Timinski Gladys; and her husband Joseph L. Sampler Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Joan Reed (Dennis), Victoria Hewitt (Charles), Joseph Sampler and Patrick Sampler (Beth). She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Andrew the Apostle Parish (1 Park Rd, Donora, PA 15033). A burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at the Valley Memorial Park (49 2nd Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033).
