With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donna Macik (Donora, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2025 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donna Macik to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid Donna farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Donna is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Veliky and Anna Veliky (Wruszak); and her brothers-in-law, Patrick Curran and Carl Totedo. She is survived by: her husband George Macik; her children, Darren Macik and Ashley Macik; her sister Jane Curran; her sister-in-law Beverly Totedo; and her caregiver Magee of Women's Hospital. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. (40 2nd Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donating to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition in Donna's memory.
