He is survived by: his wife Joan Louise Painter; his children, Sherrie, Joseph, Donald and Brian (Lynn); and his grandchildren, Stephen, Sean, Blake, Olivia, Anna, Vanessa and Kaylie.
The military honors will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 and on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 11:15 AM at the Valley Memorial Park (49 2nd Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the James C. Stump Funeral Home (580 Circle Dr, Belle Vernon, PA 15012). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Andrew the Apostle Parish (1 Park Rd, Donora, PA 15033).
