It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John C. Niederberger of Dormont, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 26, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril John and Mary Regina Niederberger (Jean); and his sister Jeannie Daley (Shaun). He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Carrie Shick (Mark), Jon Mathew Niederberger (Stasi) and Leslie Moose (Ben); his grandchildren, Colton, Camille, Everly Shick, Brody and Jace Niederberger; and his siblings, Mary Joyce Niederberger, Margaret Salas (James) and Thomas Niederberger (Marilyn). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the HOA Endowment for Cancer Research at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center.
