He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Stanley and Margaret Sayres (Trimmer); his daughter Kelly Routson; and his siblings, Linda Scheib and Donald Sayres.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Marie Sayres (Nace); his children, Barry Allen Sayres, II (Alysha) of Dover and Beth Ann Snyder of Dover; his stepchildren, Amy Reeser (Jason) of Manchester, Wendy Knokey (Dustin) of East Berlin and Michael Ort (Jess) of York; and his sister Carol Gerver (Clark) of Dover. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Etzweiler Funeral Home (1111 E Market St, York, PA 17403).
