He was predeceased by: his parents, Orrie M. Merson and Hazel M. Merson (Campbell); and his sisters, Frances, Maryann and Virginia.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne M. Merson (McComas); his children, Brandon L. Merson (Angie) of Newberrytown, Derek M. Merson (Jessie) of York, Cameron A. Merson of Dover, Justin J. Merson of Dover, Lindsey N. Noll (Tony) of Windsor and Hazel M. Wagaman (Cameron) of Hanover; his grandson Aiden; and his stepgrandchildren, Callen and Ollie.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery (60 Indiantown Gap Rd, Annville, PA 17003).
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Chuck's memory may make a contribution toward the upcoming hip replacement surgery for his beloved dog, Raleigh.
