Eleanor leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Eleanor’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Eleanor will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Shenberger and Eleanor M. Shenberger (Berkebile); and her sister Barbara Gentzler. She is survived by: her husband Grayson E. Linebaugh; her daughters, Laura A. Bell of York and Mary E. Mueller (Monroe) of Dover; and her siblings, William Shenberger of York Haven, Mary Hughes of York and Sue Ann Hines of Thomasville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Church (309 S George St, York, PA 17401). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Immaculate Conception Church (309 S George St, York, PA 17401).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Patient Help Fund, 2500 South George Street, York, PA 17403, or to York County SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, York, PA 17406.
