She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rees and Gwendolyn Rees (Leath). She is survived by: her husband Marlin L. Hovis of Dover, PA; her grandchild Braydon Hovis; her daughter-in-law Jessica Heavner; Justin R. Hovis of Dover, Jill Barry (Scott) of Lafayette, NJ and Adria Howe (Ken) of Cleveland, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gails honor to the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT), supporting education, advocacy, and advancement of emergency medical professionals who continue the lifesaving work she proudly carried out.
