He was predeceased by: his spouse Alverda M. Miller (Eberly); his parents, Eugene N. Miller and Sarah B. Bowers (Mansberger); his sons, James E. Miller, Jr. and Paul E. Miller; and his siblings, Bruce Miller, Daniel Miller and Carol Hendrix.
He is survived by: his half-siblings, Eugene Miller, Jr., Barney Miller, Linda Reed and Ann Filas; and his pets, Jewel and Blackjack. He is also survived by two grandsons; a great granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews.
