He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Lauber, (Eaton) and Lewis Robert Lauber, Sr.; and his siblings, Jean Rudy and Lewis Lauber, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Lavon M. Smith; his son Stephen J. (Gina Lauber) of New Cumberland; and his grandchildren, Averie and Ayla Lauber.
