He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn E. and Delores N. "Mary" Shaffer, Jr. (Ruppert); and his brother Steve Shaffer. He is survived by: his wife Karen E. Shaffer (Rupert); his daughters, Bobbie Thompson of York and Hunter Shaffer of Dover; his granddaughters, Luciana Thompson, Zenith Thompson and Ariana Lopez; and his siblings, Dodie Spahr of East Berlin, Norm Myers of York, Wayne Myers of Dover, Kim Burgen of Red Lion and Jan Ressler of York. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
