With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maureen R. Eckman of Dover, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 21, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Russell D. Miller and Sarah Irene Miller of Lehighton, Pennsylvania.; and her brother Burton Miller. She is survived by : her sister Loise Pinkerton Fritz of Lehighton; her daughters, Sheila Eckman (Berneta Walraven) of Vashon and Shannon Christman (Mark) of Hershey; her grandchildren, Sarah Coates (Tyson), Alex Christman and Danica Christman; and her great grandchildren, Evelyn Coates and Henry Coates. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Christ Evangelical Free Church (2420 Blakeslee Blvd Dr W, Lehighton, PA 18235). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
