Michael Edgecomb Obituary
YORK – Michael R. Edgecomb, 30, entered into rest on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at his home.
Born June 3, 1996 in York, he was a son of Todd D. Edgecomb, Sr. (fiancé of Kristen Dunavin) of York and Darlisa A. (Ruppert) Edgecomb (fiancée of Andrew Mergler) of Red Lion.
Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his beloved dog, King Boy. He would give the shirt of his back to anyone and especially loved his nieces and nephews, who called him "Uncle Go Go".
In addition to his parents and their fiancés, he is survived by his sister, Hope Mundie and husband, Richard of Dover; two brothers, Todd Edgecomb, Jr. of Dover and Hunter Edgecomb and wife, Morgan of New Cumberland; four nieces; two nephews; paternal grandfather, David Edgecomb of Dover; step-brothers, Leighton Costabile and Wyatt Mullen; "step-daughter", Taylor Brown; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Patricia Whitacre and Barry Ruppert; and paternal grandmother, Doris Edgecomb.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Michael's funeral at 11 a.m. and the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 47 N. Queen Street, Dover. Burial will follow in Paddletown Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Scott Gladfelter of St. Stephen's U.C.C., York.
