She was predeceased by: her husband Marcelino "Pineapple" Pala, Jr.; and her parents, Dr. Allen H. and Mary A. Hinkel (Shipp). She is survived by: her stepchildren, Latricia Miller (James) of York and Benjamin Pala (Laura Nepple) of Northern Cambria; her stepgrandchildren, Victoria Sheridan (Nate), Katlyn McAnnaney (Chris Moore), Alexis Gaffney (Devin), Serenity Pala, Teagan Pala and Taylee Pala; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Grace Sheridan and Spenser Sheridan; and her siblings, Margaret E. Harryman of Concord, NC, Joy C. Bievenour (Dale) of Dover, Patricia A. Mann of Dover, Bruce A. Hinkel (Elicia) of Dacula, GA and Neal D. Hinkel (Elizabeth) of York Springs. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
