He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Ann Fogler Hughlett; his parents, Robert E. Hughlett and Elizabeth Troeger Hughlett; and his sister Alice Traficante of Baltimore, MD. He is survived by: his children, R. Emmett Hughlett (Denise) of Duxbury, VT, Judy Hughlett Strausbaugh (Michael Franks) of Atlanta, GA and Joanne Hughlett Prettyman (Michael Papenberg) of Shallotte, N. C.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
