He was predeceased by: his spouse Ladora S. "Dodie" Gross; his parents, Chauncy M. Gross and Mary Gross (Detter); and his siblings, Arthur Gross, Lorraine Bitting, Ruthanna Myers, Geraldine Easter and Jeanne Stouch.
He is survived by: his sons, Daniel W. Gross (Debra) of Dover, Michael D. Gross (Kathy) of Hanover, Theodore J. Gross (Lynne) of Hayes, Virginia and Matthew M. Gross (Joann) of Malverne. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
