He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis H. Stambaugh and Nellie G. Stambaugh (Kopman); his daughter Kathryn Strickler; and his brother Gordon Stambaugh. He is survived by: his wife E. Jane Stambaugh (Altland); his daughter Karen Ann Gilbert (Steven) of Wrightsville; his grandson Jeremy Gilbert; his siblings, William Stambaugh (Karen) of New Oxford and Nancy Walter (Claude) of Texas; and his sister-in-law Sherry Stambaugh of Abbottstown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
