He is survived by: his children, Mary Beth Higgins, Brian J. Higgins (Kate) of Winnetka, IL, Sean Higgins (Dana) of Columbia, SC and Patrick Higgins of Beaufort, SC. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great granddaughter.
