He was predeceased by : his father Dustex; and his siblings, Edwin and Lynne. He is survived by : his wife Constance Martens; his children, David W. Martens (Barb) of Chalfont, Laurie Hasenhauer (Duane) of Plumstead, Don W. Martens of Florida and Brett Martens of Souderton; his grandchildren, Duane Jr., David Jr., Mathew, Lilly and Grace; and his great grandchildren, David III, Juliette, Nora and Jacob. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Solebury United Methodist Church (2536 Aquetong Rd, New Hope, PA 18938).
