He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kleban and Stefanie Kleban (Czarny). He is survived by: his wife Harriette K. Kleban (Chernecky); his children, Monica Valent (Michael), Stefanie Hill (Jesse) and Michael Kleban (Kristin); his siblings, Vera Pavlick (Fran) and Roman Kleban; and his grandchildren, Zachary, Madelyn and Jesse, Jr..
